Field Trips
The SIUC Physics Department is happy to host filed trips for area schools groups. Activities are typically hands on physics demonstrations lasting for about an hour. Classroom visits can be arranged.
Astronomy Observations
Special Astronomy observations are available on campus at the physics department observation deck for the SIUC campus community. We also have portable telescopes that we can bring to your school or group. Observations are weather dependant, the best times are typically in the fall and winter.
The physics department is located in the Neckers Building, located between the student center and the SIU Arena. See the campus map.
Parking: Buses parking is available on the South side of the SIU Arena.
