Prof. Mesfin Tsige for approval of his Petroleum Research Fund grant, "Surface Properties of Fluorinated and Semifluorinated Alkanes."

Mr. Jared Burde for being a recipient of one of the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarships. There were only 13 awarded to Illinois residents, and he has one of them. Jared is the second Barry Goldwater Scholarship recipient in our Department. More info in Southern Spotlight..
