Spectroscopic:

Four Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometers and an Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectrometer are available for materials related research, i.e.,

1. A high-temperature (up to 1000 C) reactor coupled with a research-grade FTIR Spectrometer for in-situ material studies.

2. A second research-grade FTIR spectrometer with the following for attachments:
photoacoustic cell system
grazing angle
specular reflectance
three diffuse reflectance systems
attenuated reflectance
transmission high temperature system (up to 600 C or 873 K)
transmission low temperature systems (down to 4 K)
various gas cells
